Camp runs 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday for kids 6 to 16. Each day includes ranch life and animal fun! Sign up today as spots are limited!
Camp activities include:
–Los Alamos County Sheriff’s Posse Lodge (650 North Mesa Road) drop off and pick up with field trips to the stables.
–Daily horsemanship lessons include grooming, horse and tack care with a weekly riding session.
–Homesteading and Ranch Schooling activities that include Junior Sheriff’s Posse and North Mesa Stables history and etiquette, daily crafts, fiber arts, earth and crop science, dairy goat and showmanship classes.
--Breaks for lunch and morning and afternoon snacks. Those registered will be notified by email when meal purchase options are available to order. Or bring bring your own snacks and sack lunch!
*To participate, your annual registration packet and any updates to it must be submitted by May 30.
