May 29, 2021 This new camp format for kids 6 to 16 runs 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day with activities at both The Gifted Horse Barn and right next door at the newly acquired Historical Lujan Cabin!
Camp Activities:
· Daily horseback riding lessons
· Homesteading and Ranch Schooling- History and Etiquette
· Fiber Arts- Spinning and Knitting Yarn (demonstration and optional lesson)
· Signs and Stones (painting and etching art)
· Earth and Crop Science (take home plant)
· Dairy Goat Class- Goat Care (feeding, grooming, washing), Milking and Milk Stars (certificate), and Goat Showmanship (dress in a white shirt if you have one)
· Camp t-shirt and Flag (painting)
· Ranch Day Celebration
