Summer Ranch Camp 2024 Horses!

Service Description

Camp runs 9 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday for kids, ages 6 to 16. Each day is dedicated to equine fun! Sign up today as spots are limited! –Drop off and pick up at the Sheriff’s Posse Lodge (650 North Mesa Road) with field trips to the stables for horse activities. –Horsemanship lessons include grooming, ground work, horse and tack care and horseback riding. (Riding sessions are subject to weather and safety guidelines. We ride as often as possible. However, we do not guarantee a specific amount of time in the saddle. Time in the saddle varies from day to day. We do not offer refunds. But we will reschedule if that seems appropriate.) --Horse history lessons include homesteading, ranch schooling, mounted patrol, Junior Posse and North Mesa Stables of Los Alamos. --Breaks for lunch and afternoon snacks. Please bring lunch, snacks, water and appropriate clothing for fun in the sun (closed toed shoes, long sleeve over shirt and a hat). Please, DO NOT bring SPRAY-ON SUNSCREEN.
