Summer Ranch Camp 2024 Homestead!

Service Description

Camp runs 9 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday for kids, ages 6 to 16. Sign up today to experience homesteading, ranch schooling and farm animal fun! Homestead Summer Camps are limited to one week in June and one week in July! –Drop off and pick up at the Sheriff’s Posse Lodge (650 North Mesa Road) with field trips to the stables for livestock activities and homestead cabin history. - Homestead activities include farm crafts, fiber arts, earth and crop science, dairy goat care, showmanship classes and board games. If you love animals, we have horses, large and small, sheep, dairy goats and fiber goats! –Horse history includes homesteading, ranch schooling, mounted patrol, Junior Posse and North Mesa Stables. (RIDING lessons are NOT included in this camp. Some horse activities ARE part of this camp. Please sign up for the Horses! camp if you want to RIDE. We do not offer refunds. But we do reschedule when appropriate. Thank you.) - Breaks for lunch and afternoon snacks. Please bring lunch, snacks, water and appropriate clothing for fun in the sun (closed toed shoes, long sleeve over shirt and a hat). Please, DO NOT bring SPRAY-ON SUNSCREEN.
