Summer Ranch Camp 2024 Fair & Rodeo!

Service Description

Camp runs 9 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday for kids, ages 4 to 14. Must be completely potty trained and able to work well in a group. Each day is dedicated to preparations for the Los Alamos County Fair and Rodeo! Sign up today! Spots are limited! –Drop off and pick up at the Sheriff’s Posse Lodge (650 North Mesa Road) with field trips to the stables for horse and goat activities. –Horse and goat activities for this camp include grooming, ground work for parade walking, horse and tack care and at least one horseback ride. (Riding sessions are subject to weather and safety guidelines. We do not guarantee a specific amount of time in the saddle. Time in the saddle varies from day to day. We do not offer refunds. We will reschedule if that seems appropriate.) --Horse history for the Fair and Rodeo Camp includes Los Alamos Sheriff's Posse, Junior Posse, Los Alamos County Fair and Rodeo and North Mesa Stables of Los Alamos. --Breaks for lunch and snacks. Please bring lunch, snacks, water and appropriate clothing for fun in the sun (closed toed shoes, long sleeve over shirt and a hat). Please, DO NOT bring SPRAY-ON SUNSCREEN.
